商品说明
ICAMA Reg. No.: PD20183518 Product Category: Insecticides A systemic insecticide effective against a broad spectrum of piercing-sucking pests.
Key Features: 1. Systemic Action: Translocates bidirectionally within the plant, ensuring comprehensive protection of new and existing foliage. 2. Extended Residual Control: Provides long-lasting efficacy against target pests, reducing the frequency of applications. 3. Unique Mode of Action: Inhibits lipid biosynthesis in pests, leading to effective control of resistant populations.
Detailed Description: This suspension concentrate formulation contains 22.4% spirotetramat, a tetramic acid derivative known for its efficacy against a wide range of piercing-sucking insects. Spirotetramat functions by inhibiting acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC), a crucial enzyme in fatty acid biosynthesis. By disrupting lipid production, it impedes energy storage and membrane synthesis in pests, leading to their mortality. Upon foliar application, spirotetramat exhibits ambimobility, moving both upward (acropetally) and downward (basipetally) within the plant's vascular system. This bidirectional translocation ensures that all parts of the plant, including new growth, are protected from pest infestations.
Effective Against: · Citrus Trees: o Scale Insects (Coccoidea): Sap-feeding pests that cause yellowing, wilting, and reduced fruit quality. · Pomegranate Trees: o Whiteflies (Aleyrodidae): Small, winged insects that excrete honeydew, leading to sooty mold development and reduced photosynthesis. o Aphids (Aphidoidea): Soft-bodied insects that feed on plant sap, causing leaf curl, stunted growth, and potential transmission of plant viruses. · Vegetable Crops: o Aphids (Aphidoidea): Affecting crops like lettuce, causing deformation and potential virus transmission. o Whiteflies (Aleyrodidae): Impacting crops such as tomatoes and cucumbers, leading to reduced vigor and yield. o Thrips (Thysanoptera): Infesting onions and other vegetables, causing silvery streaks and deformities on leaves and fruits.
Registered Scope and Method of Use
Technical Application Requirements: 1. Timing: For optimal results, apply at the onset of pest infestation. 2. Mixing: Utilize proper mixing techniques to ensure the product is fully and evenly dispersed in the spray solution. 3. Application Technique: Use calibrated spraying equipment to achieve uniform coverage. Pay special attention to new growth and areas prone to pest colonization. 4. Environmental Conditions: Avoid application during windy conditions or if rainfall is anticipated within 1 hour to prevent runoff and ensure maximum efficacy. 5. Safety Measures: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during mixing and application. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application. Wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after handling. 6. Resistance Management: To prevent the development of resistance, rotate with insecticides having different modes of action and avoid consecutive applications of the same product.
