Detailed Description:

This suspension concentrate formulation contains 100 g/L of cyazofamid, a sulfonamide fungicide renowned for its efficacy against oomycete pathogens. Cyazofamid operates by inhibiting the Qi (quinone inside) site of the cytochrome bc1 complex (Complex III) in the mitochondrial electron transport chain of oomycetes. This disruption halts ATP production, leading to the cessation of cellular energy supply and, ultimately, fungal cell death. Its unique mode of action ensures no cross-resistance with other fungicides, making it an excellent component in integrated pest management programs.

Effective Against:

·         Grape Downy Mildew (Plasmopara viticola): Manifests as yellowish oil spots on the upper leaf surface and white downy growth on the underside, leading to defoliation and reduced yield.

·         Late Blight (Phytophthora infestans): Affects potatoes and tomatoes, causing water-soaked lesions on leaves, stems, and tubers, leading to significant crop losses.

Registered Scope and Method of Use

Technical Application Requirements:

1.      Timing: For optimal results, apply preventatively or at the very early stages of disease development.

2.      Mixing: Use the two-step dilution method to ensure the product is fully and evenly dispersed in the spray solution.

3.      Application Technique: Utilize calibrated spraying equipment to achieve uniform coverage. Pay special attention to new growth and areas prone to infection.

4.      Environmental Conditions: Avoid application during windy conditions or if rainfall is anticipated within 1 hour to prevent runoff and ensure maximum efficacy.

5.      Safety Measures: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during mixing and application. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application. Wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after handling.

6.      Resistance Management: To prevent the development of resistance, rotate with fungicides having different modes of action and avoid consecutive applications of the same product.
