Detailed Description:

Sulfur 31% + Thiophanate-methyl 14% + Thiram 25% WP is a broad-spectrum, triple-mode fungicide providing preventive, curative, and systemic protection. It combines three active ingredients for maximum efficacy:

·         Thiram (25%) – A contact fungicide that converts to Carbendazim in plants, disrupting fungal mitosis and blocking cell division.

·         Thiophanate-methyl (14%) – A systemic benzimidazole fungicide that interferes with β-tubulin assembly, stopping fungal growth from within plant tissues.

·         Sulfur (31%) – Disrupts fungal respiration by inhibiting cytochrome b and c complex, leading to cell dysfunction and death.

This synergistic combination is particularly effective against chili pepper anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.) and other Ascomycete and Basidiomycete fungal diseases. Its systemic movement and long residual action make it an essential tool for sustainable disease management.

Technical Application Requirements:

1.      Early Application & Timing: Apply at early disease onset, reapplying after 7 days if needed. Maximum two applications per season.

2.      Proper Coverage & Conditions: Ensure even spray distribution on leaves and fruits. Avoid application in windy or rainy conditions.

3.      Resistance Management: Rotate with fungicides from different FRAC groups and practice field sanitation to prevent disease recurrence.
